The White Sox wrapped up the final day of the MLB Draft on Saturday, picking 30 players in rounds 11-40.
The most notable name on the list probably is Brandon Bossard, a shortstop from Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Ill., who was picked in the 31st round (926th overall) and who happens to be the son of longtime head groundskeeper Roger Bossard.
The White Sox only picked two high school players in the first 30 rounds — sixth-round shortstop Luis Curbelo and 26th-round center fielder Zach Farrar. The organization drafted 17 pitchers and 24 position players, headlined by first-round picks Zack Collins (C, Miami) and Zack Burdi (RHP, Louisville).
