As one right-handed reliever returns for the White Sox, another departs.
On Saturday, the team announced RHP Daniel Webb has been reinstated from the disabled list after dealing with a back strain and RHP Zach Putnam has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right groin.
Webb has made 17 appearances for the White Sox this season, going 1-0 with a 2.49 ERA while striking out 15.
Putnam, 28, is 3-3 with a 3.07 ERA in 41 appearances for the South Siders. He's struck out 55 over 41 innings.
