The Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Adam Eaton on the paternity list Sunday and recalled right-handed pitcher Michael Ynoa from Triple-A Birmingham.
The White Sox announced earlier Sunday that Eaton's wife, Katie, gave birth to the couple's first child -- a boy, Brayden, who weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Eaton left the team Saturday to be with his wife.

Eaton must sit out Sunday's game after being placed on the paternity list and can miss up to three contests.
