Jake Petricka's injury woes continue as the Chicago White Sox placed the right-handed pitcher on the 10-day disabled list Thursday due to a right elbow strain.
Right-hander Juan Minaya was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte to replace Petricka on the roster.
Petricka, who is 1-0 with a 9.28 earned-run average this season, has battled injuries throughout his career, including a stint on the DL from April 5-June 8 with a right lat strain.
Minaya is 1-0 with a 6.94 ERA in eight relief appearances over three stints with the Sox this season.
