The Chicago White Sox sent Mike Pelfrey to the hill after shutting down a pair of starts this week. And that didn’t work out very well for them. Pelfrey allowed seven runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings of work in a 10-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians.
The White Sox lone run came on a solo home run by Yolmer Sanchez in the fourth inning. Otherwise Trevor Bauer kept the offense in check en route to his 17th win of the season.
This team is really operating with a make shift pitching staff.
