BALTIMORE – Music blared from the speakers at Camden Yards and the video board flashed the Orioles’ logos as the White Sox took batting practice Wednesday morning, an attempt at normalcy more than entertainment.
The only people in the ballpark to entertain about an hour before the game were a large group of media members, who filmed on the field, wandered the park taking photos and took over the press box with their computers.
The Sox know that their game against the Orioles – closed to the public due to security concerns following recent unrest in the city -- will be anything but normal, even if there is music and videos.
