Jose Quintana had another solid start on Thursday. The left hander didn’t allow a run in 6.2 innings pitched and the Chicago White Sox cruised to an easy 9-0 win over Minnesota. Quintana was able to make the start, despite a near five-hour rain delay. Todd Frazier and Jose Abreu each hit a two-run home run in the first against Nik Turley. Turley couldn’t make it out of the first and left the Twins a 5-0 hole.
Matt Davidson continued his hot streak, hitting his team leading 17th home run.
