DETROIT -- It hasn’t been the easiest couple of months whether it’s his performance or the team’s or some of his missteps. But Adam Eaton feels like he has begun to rediscover his game and the White Sox believe they’ve seen more and more of the player they signed to a five-year, $23.5-million extension in March.
Since he returned to the lineup in May after missing three games with the flu, Eaton has a .276/.349/.434 slash line with 17 extra-base hits in 219 plate appearances. Eaton has been even better in June, reaching base at a .376 clip.
