White Sox: Nicky Delmonico Shut Down With Shoulder Issue

Nicky Delmonico will not participate in offseason activity for three to four weeks. The Chicago White Sox will hold him out due to shoulder inflammation according to CBSSports.com. He missed the last two games of the season dealing with a shoulder injury. It’s clear the organization wants to ensure he’s 100 percent before allowing him to resume baseball activities.

Delmonico was somewhat of a surprise for this club. The 25-year-old hit .262 with nine home runs and 23 RBIs in 141 plate appearances in 2017. This team didn’t have much of a left handed bat and in 43 games he showed he has potential to fill that void.
