For the first time since he underwent Tommy John surgery 13 months ago, the White Sox right-hander pitched in games on consecutive days on Wednesday and Thursday night.

Jones — who has a 2.16 ERA in 8 1/3 innings since he returned from the disabled list — bounced back from a tough loss on Wednesday nicely with a scoreless inning in Thursday’s victory.
