White Sox Move Closer to 2nd Place in Division With Win Over Indians

The Chicago White Sox have moved closer to second place in the American League Central division after defeating the Cleveland Indians on Thursday night. With a 10-4 rout of the Indians, the White Sox improved their record on the season to 27-29 and are one game behind Cleveland for second place.

Coming off a sweep of the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday night, the Sox entered their four-game series with Cleveland on Thursday with some positive momentum. They didn’t allow that momentum to go to waste as they took care of business against the Indians.

With Manny Banuelos making the start for the White Sox, the team from the Southside got a crucial win over a division rival at home.
