It was not a banner day for the DSL Sox, who fell 12-1 in seven innings to the 37-20 DSL Padres. They only scraped up five hits and a walk as a lineup, two of those hits belonging to Victor Quezada and increasing his season line to .250/.353/.436 over 49 games. Javier Mora was responsible for the only extra-base hit of the day, a third-inning double. The sole Sox run scored in the fourth, Juan Mercedes reaching on error, Quezada singling him to second, a wild pitch bumping them both up a base, then Carlos Jiménez grounding out to first to drive in Mercedes.
