Leading off: White Sox LHP Carlos Rodón (shoulder) will make his first rehab start Saturday for Kannapolis. Rodón, who last pitched on Sept. 2 after having his 2017 debut delayed until June 28, underwent surgery in late September and was expected to be out of action 6-8 months. In 63 starts over his first three seasons, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2014 draft is 20-21 with a 3.95 ERA and 383 strikeouts in 373 2/3 innings. In addition, OF Luis Robert (sprained left thumb ligament) will not play for Winston-Salem until mid-June at the earliest.
