The Knights started the contest with a bang when Mark Payton cranked a leadoff solo shot to right field in the first. The Bulls answered quickly with a tally in the bottom of the second off Charlotte righty Johan Domínguez. The 28-year-old, pushed back from a slated Sunday start to lead off this week’s action, earned a quality start for tonight’s performance by surrendering two runs on six hits with three walks over six innings.
