After missing almost a full month of action, Luis Robert made his long-awaited return from a meniscus injury on Tuesday.
He was allowed to ease back into Dominican Summer League action, playing the first seven-inning game of a doubleheader against an Arizona DSL affiliate, and as a designated hitter.
His line suggests he wasn’t physically limited, though. He went 2-for-3 with his second homer, a walk, a strikeout and a stolen base.
- Jacob May went 0-for-3 with a strikeout and a bunt.
- Rymer Liriano was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
- Danny Hayes, 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout.
