More bad news in regards to injuries for the White Sox. With the announcement of both Carlos Rodon and Nate Jones missing the remainder of the 2019 season due to injuries, outfield prospect Micker Adolfo will also miss the rest of this year as he recovers from surgery.
Adolfo, the White Sox eighth-ranked prospect will require arthroscopic surgery on his elbow. This will require him to miss the remainder of this season. This is unfortunate news for Adolfo as he’s battled injuries before in the past including needing Tommy John surgery on his elbow last year.
