Luis Robert, the Chicago White Sox third-ranked prospect, returned from the disabled list on Tuesday night with High-A Winston-Salem. Robert had been sidelined since July 1 when he was placed on the disabled list with a thumb injury.
In the Dash’s 3-2 win over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Robert went 2-for-4 with a strikeout. Robert appeared in five games with the AZL White Sox before returning to Winston-Salem. He joins a team that will appear in the postseason and is now 23 games above .500 with a 68-45 record.
With many of the Sox top prospects in Winston-Salem, Robert could help the Dash have success in the postseason.
