White Sox MiLB Report: Dane Dunning Pitches Complete Game Shutout

The Chicago White Sox have gotten solid outings from their pitching prospects recently. On Sunday, one prospect went the distance in his final start of the season. Dane Dunning, the Sox tenth ranked prospect pitched a seven inning complete game shutout for Single-A Advanced Winston-Salem.

Dunning recorded nine strikeouts and allowed zero walks in the Dash 2-0 victory over the Salem Red Sox in game one of a doubleheader. With the start on Sunday, Dunning ended his 2017 season strongly and could start 2018 with Double-A Birmingham. Dunning went 6-8 with a 3.51 ERA for Winston-Salem this season.
