The Chicago White Sox were unable to complete their game on Monday due to rain. However, all of their minor league affiliates were in action on Memorial Day. The Sox Triple-A affiliate Charlotte Knights were shutout at home 10-0 by the Durham Bulls.
Charlotte collected just three hits on the day against the Bulls as Sox top catching prospect Zack Collins went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Danny Mendick, Alcides Escobar and Adam Engel were the only Knights players to collect a hit on Monday.
With the loss, the Knights record fell to 27-21 on the season.
