If Chicago White Sox fans are looking for some positive news this week, they should look no further than the minor leagues. The Charlotte Knights of Triple-A remain hot as they notched another win on Wednesday night to improve their record to 14-6.
The Knights defeated the Toledo MudHens 9-6 at BB&T Ballpark. Charlotte has won three consecutive ballgames and seven of their last eight games. They’re currently the best White Sox affiliate in the minors and has had success without the help of many top prospects.
On Wednesday, Matt Skole had a 2-for-4 night with three RBIs for the Knights.
