If the Chicago White Sox need a starter for next season, Miguel Gonzalez sure showed he could an option. The righty single handedly shutdown the Tampa Bay Rays, throwing his longest outing of the season. Gonzalez struck out five in 8.1 innings while scattering three hits in the 1-0 victory.
Todd Frazier hit hit 40th home run of the season off Eddie Gamboa in the seventh inning. With that home run, he is the first player in White Sox history to have 40 home runs and 15 stolen bases in a single season.
