The Chicago White Sox made a pair of roster moves on Thursday. First, they designated right hander Michael Ynoa for assignment. Second, they reinstated David Robertson. Robertson had been on the paternity list since this past Monday. The team gets its closer back and Ynoa can go to the minors to try and sort himself out.
Ynoa signed with Oakland in 2008 for a record $4.25 million. He was one of the best prospects to come out of the Dominican Republic at the time. Ynoa was once a top 100 prospect but things just didn’t pan out.
