White Sox manager Rick Renteria was hospitalized before Monday’s game against the Twins at Target Field in Minneapolis after feeling lightheaded in the clubhouse.
Renteria, 56, told Sox trainer Herm Schneider he was not feeling well a few hours before game time, so Schneider sent him to the Hennepin County Medical Center for precautionary reasons.
Renteria was still being evaluated during the early innings of the Sox-Twins game, which was delayed at the start by rain, but reportedly was feeling better, according to a source.
