White Sox manager Rick Renteria returned to Chicago “in very good spirits” Thursday after being hospitalized in Minneapolis earlier this week with lightheadedness.
“He sounds great and he's doing well,” interim manager Joe McEwing said Thursday in Detroit, before the 12:10 game against the Tigers. “We’re not sure when he’ll be back but hopefully we'll get to see him soon."
Renteria was set to undergo more tests at Rush University Medical Center Thursday and has continued to experience the same symptoms, McEwing said.
