The Chicago White Sox dropped their fifth consecutive game, losing 7-4 to the Detroit Tigers on Sunday. David Robertson got the loss after giving up a walk-off three-run home run to Justin Upton. David Holmberg, who made his second start, lasted only 3.2 innings but only allowed one run.
It’s definitely been a tough stretch for the White Sox. They are playing hard and don’t give up in games, but they have just not played well enough to win. Pitching has been a concern and having Holmberg in the rotation may not be the best thing.
