Fresh off their three-game sweep of the Royals, the White Sox turn to left-hander Manny Banuelos on Thursday night against the Indians and right-hander Carlos Carrasco in the opener of a four-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The Sox (26-29) are two games behind the second-place Indians (28-27) in the American League Central. The Twins (37-17) lead the division by 9½ games.
Banuelos (2-4) returned from the injured list Saturday in Minnesota, giving up five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four in four innings.
