CLEVELAND -- The White Sox would be best suited to forget Wednesday’s 4-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians.
John Danks didn’t get out of the fifth inning, the offense stranded eight base runners and the defense kicked the ball around in front of 11,042 at Progressive Field. Lonnie Chisenhall’s two-run double in the fourth inning was the big blow against Danks, who only lasted 4 2/3 innings and didn’t get much from his defense.
Geovany Soto had a costly error while Conor Gillaspie, Micah Johnson and Jose Abreu couldn’t make several tough plays. Soto’s throwing error in the second inning gave Cleveland the extra out it needed to take a 1-0 lead.
