MIAMI — James Shields made another early exit Saturday night against the Marlins as he continued his relapse to his early-June form, but the White Sox offense had its best showing in more than a month to fuel an 8-7 victory.
Justin Morneau cracked a pinch-hit RBI double to right field off Marlins reliever Kyle Barraclough and Dioner Navarro scored on a wild pitch on Melky Cabrera's third strike with two outs in the eighth inning to give the Sox the come-from-behind victory.
That outburst — which gave the Sox their most runs in a game since July 8 — erased what would have been Shields' third loss in a row.
