You may have heard, there was bad injury news for the White Sox on Saturday morning, both long- and short-term, as Drew Thorpe will have Tommy John surgery and breakout bat Brandon Drury has a broken thumb.
As for the remaining healthy players in camp, with time winding down toward games that count the White Sox are getting everybody they can in action today, with split-squad games against the Mariners and the Rockies. And to put a little excitement into the games, the two White Sox big stars of the future (we hope) will be the two starting pitchers.
