White Sox Game Day: Counting on consistent Quintana

White Sox left-hander Jose Quintana takes the mound in search of his second straight victory Tuesday night against the Red Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. He enters with a 7-10 record and a 3.60 ERA. He faces Red Sox left-hander Wade Miley, who is 10-9 with a 4.41 ERA.

At the plate

Sox center fielder Adam Eaton will lead off, followed by left fielder Melky Cabrera, first baseman Jose Abreu, designated hitter Avisail Garcia, right fielder Trayce Thompson, shortstop Alexei Ramirez, catcher Geovany Soto, second baseman Carlos Sanchez and third baseman Gordon Beckham.

On the mound

Quintana hasn’t given up more than four earned runs in a game since he gave up six May 24 against the Twins.
