White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu looking to stay hot on the road against Twins

The White Sox collected 16 hits, including eight for extra bases, in a 9-7 loss to the Twins on Tuesday night.

They’ll try to keep their offense rolling – but with better results – when they face the Twins and right-hander Jose Berrios on Wednesday at Target Field.

Jose Abreu enters the game on an eight-game hitting streak, with two homers and 11 RBIs in that span. He had four hits Tuesday, including his 12th homer of the year. All of his homers have come on the road, breaking a Sox record for most road homers to open a season.
