The White Sox added to their draft talent haul Tuesday afternoon by selecting New Mexico center fielder Luis Gonzalez and Louisville right-hander Lincoln Henzman in the third and fourth rounds.
Gonzalez, a left-handed hitter, hit .361 with 22 doubles, eight homers, 62 runs scored, 58 walks, 32 strikeouts and a .500 on-base percentage over 55 games with New Mexico this season. He also pitched 56 2/3 innings over 11 starts for New Mexico, posting a 6.51 ERA.
Henzman, a reliever, owns a 1.77 ERA over 35 2/3 innings and 25 appearances with Louisville this year. He has walked nine and struck out 36.
