Headed into his fourth start of the season with a horrendous 7.50 ERA, White Sox 2015 first-round draft pick Carson Fulmer had a terrific game against the Seattle Mariners on Monday night.
Fulmer has not had the best start of 2018. In his first three starts, the already mentioned 7.50 ERA was accompanied by nine walks. Six of them from one game against the Tampa Bay Rays in his second start. His last start against the Oakland Athletics, Fulmer failed to make it to the third inning.

Maybe because of his poor performance or the fact that the Sox were down 9-0, or maybe a combination of the two, Fulmer made a relief appearance against the Astros this past Friday.
