Carlos Rodon is recovering well from arthroscopic shoulder surgery and everything is on schedule. Chicago White Sox general manager Rick Hahn addressed the media with reports at the winter meetings. Rodon’s agent, Scott Boras, also told reporters Rodon was “doing great and the White Sox see him as a top-of-the-rotation starter.
“Everything is progressing according to schedule. Until he’s in Spring Training and really getting after it and throwing the ball again, we won’t really know when that window will fall. But so far it’s been positive.” -Rick Hahn
Rodon’s recovery could be a key for the Sox moving forward.
