The Chicago White Sox have had a good start to the season and it’s been without starting pitcher Carlos Rodon. Colleen Kane of the Tribune writes the lefty’s recovery has been positive but slow. He is on a throwing program and will be evaluated again on April 21. Manager Rick Renteria said he has yet to throw off the mound.
Jose Quintana has struggled to start the season so the team could desperately use Rodon. However, the team is technically in the midst of a rebuild, so there is no need to rush him back.
