SoxFest 2021 has been canceled because of the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chicago White Sox announced Friday.
The event was scheduled for Jan. 22-23 at McCormick Place. The event moved to McCormick Place for the 2020 edition, which was the 28th installment of SoxFest.
“Each season, the entire organization looks forward to bringing our team and fans together at our annual fan fest in celebration of a new season of White Sox baseball,” the team said in a statement on its website. "We are grateful for the unwavering support from our fans and partners, and are disappointed we cannot offer the same SoxFest experience as we have in the past.
