Carson Fulmer was drafted with the eighth overall pick in the 2015 MLB draft by the White Sox. Fulmer had solid success as a starting pitcher and reliever at Vanderbilt University and made his major league debut in 2016 with a strikeout of future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols.
Since making his major league debut, Fulmer has struggled to maintain consistent success not only in the Majors but in the minors as well. Last season, Fulmer didn’t perform well when given the opportunity to start with the Sox and when he was demoted to Triple-A, he also experienced struggles before ending the year on a good note.
