The White Sox have called up left-handed pitcher Josh Osich from Triple-A Charlotte for tonight’s game against the Yankees in New York.
He takes the spot vacated by left-hander Caleb Frare, who was optioned to Charlotte after Wednesday’s loss to the Rays. Frare, 25, had a 6.75 ERA in four relief appearances this season..
Osich, 30, had a 2.25 ERA in three relief appearances for Charlotte after he was claimed off waivers by the White Sox from the Orioles on March 11.
