The White Sox avoided arbitration with a handful of players on Friday.
The White Sox agreed to one-year deals with Todd Frazier ($12 million), Dan Jennings ($1.4 million), Jake Petricka ($825,000), Miguel Gonzalez ($5.9 million) and Zach Putnam ($1,117,500).
After a blockbuster offseason trade that brought Frazier to the White Sox, the slugging third baseman led the South Siders with 40 home runs and 15 stolen bases in his first year with the team in 2016. Frazier played in 158 games and had a .225/.302/.464 slash line with 98 RBI and finished the year with a 3.
