Former Chicago White Sox starter Anthony Ranaudo has found a new home. After being released from the team, the right hander signed with the Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization. He will earn a little over $1 million as part of his deal.
The Sox acquired him from the Texas Rangers in exchange for Matt Ball in May. Ranaudo was once a top prospect with the Boston Red Sox. He only made seven appearances for the White Sox and was 0-1 with an 8.46 ERA. He had better luck in the minors posting a 6-5 record with a 3.
