The Chicago White Sox reduced their list of unsigned arbitration eligible players to two Thursday by agreeing to one-year deals with infielder Brett Lawrie and left-handed reliever Dan Jennings.
Lawrie, acquired in a trade with the Oakland Athletics for two minor league pitchers, will receive $4.125 million. Jennings agreed to a $810,000 contract.
Outfielder Avisail Garcia and pitcher Zach Putnam are the Sox's lone unsigned arbitration eligible players. Salary figures will be exchanged if both sides can't reach an agreement by Friday at noon. Arbitration hearings are scheduled for Feb.
