Carlos Rodon is back.
The White Sox reinstated their left-handed ace Saturday from the 60-day disabled list and returned him from his injury rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte. In a corresponding move, the Sox designated right-hander Chris Beck for assignment.
Rodon, 25, will make his season debut against the Red Sox. He was placed on the disabled list in March while he continued to rehab from left shoulder surgery last September.
