When the Chicago White Sox designated Hector Noesi for assignment in mid-June, it was no surprise to see the right-hander past through waivers unclaimed. During his time with the club, he struggled keeping the ball in the yard, walked too many batters and when he wasn’t starting, was worse as a reliever.
With no use for him in the bullpen and a rookie on the rise in Carlos Rodon, it was just a matter of time for the move to be made.
Since then, Noesi has found a home with the White Sox Triple-A club and is pitching well.
