Need a White Sox fix?
Every Thursday we are paying tribute to White Sox standouts of the past, highlighting a different letter of the alphabet each week.
Today we focus on a former Sox player whose last name begins with the letter E — Carl Everett.
Carl Everett, OF/DH, White Sox (2003, 2004–05), Marlins, Mets, Astros, Red Sox, Rangers, Expos, Mariners
A switch-hitting outfielder and DH who was a two-time All-Star (2000, 2003), Carl Everett played for eight teams in his 14-year major-league career after being selected by the Yankees with the 10th overall pick in the 1990 MLB draft.
