First things first: I’d like to think Dahlia for giving me a great headline idea:
Carlos Rodón was back in action tonight against the Red Sox. He had a nice 1-2-3 inning to start things off for the Good Sox in the first and second.
And then, so did Tanner Houck. The White Sox seemed to have briefly forgotten that Houck hadn’t won a game all season.
The first hit of the game came as a leadoff single at the top of the third by Christian Vázquez, breaking up the perfect game/no hitter that was going on.
