As the pennant race heats up and with MLB’s postseason on the horizon, the White Sox’ penultimate regular season homestand welcomes two divisional rivals to Guaranteed Rate Field over a seven-game stretch.
The Detroit Tigers will visit the South Side between Sept. 11–13 for a three-game set. José Abreu and the Sox have already clinched the season series against Detroit, but the American League home run leaders will surely want to continue the damage they’ve done to Detroit’s pitching rotation.
The Minnesota Twins will be back at the ballpark from Sept. 14–17 for four games and a tough battle with the White Sox for the AL Central crown.
