White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier returns to the lineup Wednesday night as the Sox try to earn a series victory over the Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field.
Frazier sat out Tuesday while in the midst of a 2-for-25 slump, including going 0-for-6 on Monday. But he said he was feeling refreshed after the breather.
“You need that sometimes,” Frazier said. “When you’re going good, there are no questions asked. When you’re struggling a little, maybe a day off to reflect on some things and see how guys approach the game.”
Sox left-hander Chris Sale will try to lead the Sox to their first series victory since June 1.
