Tyler Saladino singled in J.B. Shuck with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the White Sox clipped the Cubs, 5-4, in the opener of the Crosstown Classic for their third consecutive walk-off victory.
The Sox have now recorded three consecutive walk-off wins for the first time since August 4-6, 1962 and registered their fifth walk-off of this season.
In front of a season-high sellout crowd of 39, 510, the Sox jumped out to a 4-0 lead on the heels on an Adam Eaton RBI single in the third inning and Todd Frazier‘s three-run homer (29) in the sixth (click on top link below).
