No, the White Sox said, there was no truth to the report of a rift between executive vice president Ken Williams and general manager Rick Hahn over the direction this dogbreath team should go at the trade deadline.

And that’s a shame. Don’t you wish someone had disagreed with doing nothing after yet another offseason of chasing just enough veteran talent to not play even .500?
