Bovada just sent out their baseball win totals for the season, and man, it is a grisly picture for the Chicago White Sox.
Only 68 wins. Sure, Chicago finishes comfortably ahead of the Miami Marlins (64.5 wins) for the race the very bottom, but man, that’s grim.
Even the Detroit Tigers are projected to be a half-game better than the Chisox, in those bleary Vegas eyes. Perhaps they’re tabbing Miggy Cabrera for a 40-120 season, or forgot that Jason Verlander was swapped to the Houston Astros.
Anyway, it puts Bovada in the rare space of seeming tougher on the Pale Hose than Pecota, notoriously bearish when it comes to forecasting the club.
